Background: Megapnosaurus was an Early Jurassic descendant of Ceolophysis. Remains have been found in Arizona and Utah. Like it's much larger cousin Dilophosaurus , it had a double set of crests running down its skull. Only Megapnosaurus 's crests were much smaller. This sculpture was made for The Dinosaur Discovery Track site at Johnson Farm Museum, in Saint George, Utah, and is on permanent display there.
