Background: Eolambia was a primitive duck billed dinosaur. It still retained some physical traits of the iguanodonts, it's direct ancestors. Eolambia fossil remains were first found in Eastern Utah, at the The Carol Site, a Early Cretaceous Cedar Mountain Formation locality. It was found along side Animantarx , and is named in honor of Raymal Jones 's wife Carol.
