Background: Brontotherium was the largest of the Titanotheres, a group of uneven toed ungulates, that roamed the American prairies and badlands, in the Ogolecene period, 30 million years ago. This sculpture is the maquette for a life sized bronze, for the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. The project is tenatively scheduled to be completed in April, 2007.
